Nothing is locked behind a bigger plan.

Ember is the entire product. Every plan gets the same features, support, and speed. Price depends on one thing: how many people are in your workspace.

Same product. Very different bill.

Per-seat tools charge for every person, every month. TaskShelf is one flat price for your whole team, and flat never means less: every plan has the same features and the same functionality.

Billing period for the comparison

For a team of 26 people, a year costs:

TaskShelf

$20092% less

vs
Per-seat tools

$2,496

For 26 people, you keep $2,296 a year, with the same product on both sides. Per-seat maths uses $8 per person, per month; many tools charge more.

And nothing is gated.

Other tools hold features back to sell you a bigger tier. Every TaskShelf plan, from Ember up, includes:

  • Full API access
  • Unlimited history
  • GitHub integration
  • Slack integration
  • Google and Outlook Calendar
  • Priority support
  • Every feature we complete next

Solving the problem at the price it should cost.

Every bracket is the same TaskShelf, with every feature and the same support. A bigger plan only makes room for more people. Every condition of buying is below.

No asterisks.

There is no fine print anywhere else. This is the list: every condition of buying TaskShelf, in plain words.

Who counts

  1. Each workspace is billed on its own. Two workspaces have two plans, and the people in them are not counted together.
  2. Your team size is the number of people who have signed in and hold an account in the workspace. Invitations nobody has accepted do not count.
  3. If your team grows past its limit, nothing stops working and nothing is charged automatically. We email you, and you move up when you choose.
  4. If your team shrinks, we tell you when a smaller plan is available. Moving down is your choice and takes effect at renewal.

Before and while you pay

  1. Prices are shown before tax. Local tax is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
  2. You are charged in US dollars. A bank outside the US may add its own conversion fee.
  3. Payment is handled by Dodo Payments, our seller-of-record partner, so receipts and card statements show their name.
  4. Every plan starts with 7 days free. No card required.
  5. Plans renew automatically, and we email you before every renewal.
  6. If a renewal fails, we keep trying your card for about two weeks before anything about your workspace changes.

If things change

  1. When moving up mid-term, we show the available prices before you decide how the change should take effect.
  2. If you change your mind, we refund a payment in full within 7 days of it being taken. After that, we do not refund time already paid for.
  3. Going over your limit never blocks anyone. Nothing in TaskShelf stops working because of headcount.
  4. If you stop paying, your workspace stays readable, searchable, and exportable for as long as you keep your account. We delete nothing.

Common questions.

The details teams usually want before choosing a plan.

What is the difference between the plans?

Only the workspace’s team-size pricing bracket. The product is identical in every bracket, with the same features and support. Growing beyond a bracket does not block people from joining.

Which industries is TaskShelf for?

Every industry. TaskShelf is a general task and project tracker, and nothing in it is limited to one line of work.

What if we grow past our limit?

Nothing stops working and nothing is charged automatically. We email you, and you move up whenever you choose. Removing the extra people avoids the change entirely.

What if our team shrinks?

We let you know when a smaller plan is available. You decide whether to move down, and the change starts at your next renewal.

What if we are over 100 people?

Talk to us. We agree on a flat price directly, and the product remains identical to every other plan.

What happens if we stop paying?

Your workspace remains readable, searchable, and exportable for as long as you keep your account. Editing resumes when your plan does.

What can we attach to a task?

TaskShelf currently supports image attachments. Large images are resized when you upload them.

How much of our calendar comes across?

The past month and the next three months. Events outside that period will not appear.

Paying from India?

You are charged in US dollars on an international card, so your bank may add a conversion fee. Some Indian banks also require approval for recurring international payments.
